The Vegan Kind | October 2017

The Vegan Kind is a monthly subscription box which mainly contains food, however there's usually some kind of 'lifestyle' product also included each month. I've been subscribed to them for over a year (with a bit of break in between) and I recently re-subscribed and was excited to open this months box. It's a lovely treat and a great way to find new vegan-friendly, dairy-free, and often gluten-free goodies alongside the recipe card they send through each month to add to my little TVK folder.
Here's what I found inside October's box:-

Biona Organic Cola bottles - I haven't had cola bottles in years as the standard Haribo ones contain gelatin so I am really excited to tuck into these as a treat through the week. I've heard a lot from this brand through other bloggers and YouTuberss so I have high hopes. edit - I tried these at the weekend and they are amazing.  A lot more cola flavoured than Haribo and much softer but none the less yum! (75g, RRP £1.79)

Vive peanut butter jelly - I've never tried these before but I tend to love anything were peanut butter is involved.  I will have to report back on these. (40g, RRP £1.95)

Harper Candles - Little black cat Halloween special - I have had a candle from this brand before in a previous TVK box.  These are the only candles TVK feature in their boxes and they are 100% cruelty free soy wax candles and smell divine.  (RRP £5)

My Protein cookie - I'm a big fan of My Protein & they have a good selection of protein bars, powders and cookies which are suitable for Vegans.  This one unfortunately contains wheat so I'm going to have to pass it along. (75g, RRP £1.99)

Retro corn popcorn - I am a big fan of pop corn and citric flavors, however I'm not entirely sure how I feel about both of them combined.  I'm excited to give these a try and will update you over on my Twitter. (35g, RRP £0.99)

Geo Organic chickpea dhal - If you know me irl you will know I have an obsession with curry and can't go a week without whipping up some for lunch or dinner.  This little bowl is going to be so handy to have in the cupboard for nights I'm feeling lazy, or to throw in my lunch bag for a no fuss lunch at work.  (300g, RRP £1.49)

Alo drink - I've tried quite a few of the flavors this brand have and I am a big fan of their drinks.  This one is watermelon and peach which sounds so nice and refreshing. (500ml, RRP £1.99)

The total price of the products in the box was £15.20 and the monthly subscription costs £10 (+P&P) so you are getting your moneys worth of snacks and a great way to try out some new vegan products.  Are you signed up to any subscription boxes?

The Vegan Kind also donate a percentage of the cost to a chosen charity each month.  This month the charity was Tower Hills Stables Animal Sanctuary.
